Wisely Planned Birthdays: Come One, Come All!!
I know, I know.....it's yet another Circus themed party! However, since I'm helping my girlfriend with her daughter's party (and this happens to be the theme) I have been coming across Circus themed parties that are just too fabulous not to showcase!!! That is the case with this particular party from Brittany at Grey Grey Designs. The most amazing thing is that she made her own Big Top out of (what looks like to me) table cloths! Perhaps she can confirm this. The entire party is just too cute. What I was surprised most about was that it was INdoors!! Check out her original blog post here. Enjoy all the pictures!

Easter Centerpieces
I'm so excited! I will be hosting an Easter Family Brunch/ Play Date with a few friends and their kids. There will be 10 adults and 5 kids (old enough to sit at a table on their own). I went to the Dollar Tree this weekend and stocked up on dozens of plastic eggs to use as decorations. Now I have to figure out how to use them!
I'm hoping I find some inspiring ideas over at Maddycakes Muse. Michelle is hosting a Spring Tablescape Contest, so I'd love to see what all these creative ladies in blogland have come up with at their Spring parties in the past. Head over to her blog to see what parties have been submitted thus far....or enter your own tablescape if you've got one!
I have been researching Easter centerpiece ideas, today. So far, this is what I've found:

So what do you think? Cute, right? If you have any centerpiece ideas that are easy and CHEAP, send them my way! I would LOVE to see them!

Wisely Planned Birthdays: Take Me Out to the Ball Game!
I happen to have a long list of themes I would like to have for Caden's Birthday parties from now until age 5. I realize that at about age 4 he will have his own opinion and want a specific character or something. However, for now, I have my list.
Age 1: Mod Monkey {check}
Age 2: Cowboy Corral {pending}
Age 3: Circus/ Carnival
Age 4: Baseball Mania
Age 5: Sesame Street (or Firetruck Party)
Any how, whenever I see parties that are any of those themes, I like to take mental notes. While blog-surfing this afternoon, I found a Baseball Party hosted by Annette, over at Swanky Tables. She hosted a baseball themed party for her two boys and the result was pretty fantastic! I was so inspired that I might bump up the baseball party to Caden's 3rd birthday instead! :) Enjoy the pictures!

Wisely Planned: Football Party
In honor of Super Bowl Weekend, I thought it would be appropriate to feature a Football themed party. I saw this party at Simply Creative Insanity, and I thought it was a great party for a feature!
Kari Mawn, over at Mawnster Parties planned this creative party and it turned out AMAZING! It was a block party and it looks like a great time was had by all. My favorite thing about this party is the BBQ grill centerpieces! :) I think it would go well with the BaByQ Baby shower I featured a few posts ago.
Kari did such a great job and if you check out all of her parties, you'll see she's consistently creative!

Taking a Small Break: Cabo San Lucas here we come!
So we'll be going to Cabo San Lucas this weekend! We leave tomorrow and I am so excited! I haven't been back to Cabo (with my husband) since our honeymoon four years ago. This time we are bringing our little guy, Caden, and our friends Becky and Kevin with their daughter, who's two. I am so excited!
So while I'm away, feel free to look up any items I've made....and if you're interested in a custom order, email me! I will get back to you as soon as I return to the real world, next week.
Happy Super Bowl Parties!!!!

Wisely Planned Birthdays: Mod Monkey Mayhem!
Many of you follow The Creative Party Place and you may have seen their Mod Monkey feature today. Well you can imagine my happy surprise when I realized that I had actually attended this party this summer! :) Turns out this was my neighbor from across the street!
Corin invited us over to little Jacob's Mod Monkey party last August. And she and her family attended Caden's Mod Monkey Party just days before. Our 2 boys are just 10 days apart! :) I recall thinking at the party that no detail passed her. :) She even had Monkey Juice (lemonade). It was so cute. The best part of this story is that I had no idea she even had a blog until today when I saw her feature on TCPP.
So it is with great pleasure, that I introduce to you, Jacob's Mod Monkey Birthday! (Thanks Corin!)
