{happy customer} Sweet Baby Ava Banner

I recently sold a custom baby shower banner on Etsy, for Tash Yi.  She happened to be here in L.A., so she actually picked it up from me and I got to meet her!

Her colors were grey, light pink and aqua.  She sent me a picture of some poms from Etsy that I had to match the banner to.  I went out on a hunt for some matching paper and I was so glad with the end results.......as was Tash!  : )  She said, "It turned out soo beautifully!"

So glad you let me be a part of such a beautiful day!  And the dessert table looked gorgeous!

Pink & Brown Garden Baby Shower

I could not be more excited about this post!!!

My friend Megan is having Baby #2 and it's a girl {baby name is not being revealed.....but my guess is Mary}!  She already has a little boy.  Originally she didn't want a baby shower, so myself and two of her girlfriends convinced her to have a "sprinkle" {although I think this was really a SHOWER  : )  }  Her baby's nursery will be pink and brown, so she wanted something to match. To break up the two colors a little, we threw in some green on the invitation.  From there it sort of turned into a Garden Theme, unintentionally.

The "sprinkle" was at my house.  My friends and family always joke that we never have a party at my house where it isn't over 85 degrees.  We usually need fans and a lot of ice to help with the heat, but Saturday was PERFECT!  Mid to low 70's....ideal for lunch with some nice ladies.

Thank you Megan, for letting us plan your sprinkle!  Jennifer, Katie and I had a great time doing it!

Food Labels and Favor Tags are courtesy of the talented Kim over at The Tom Kat Studio {they are available for purchase here}.  She also inspired me with her fabric backdrop for the table from THIS party

Plates were found via Plates & Napkins.  They went perfectly with Megan's vision of a non-babyish theme.

I custom made the banner. To order, head on over to my esty store!

I made the centerpieces from a blog post I found via Party Box Design. It was so easy to do!

I made these the night before and they were SO easy to make!  I found pink marshmallows {strawberry flavored} at Target.

Katie found a recipe for our "Preggatini" on Better Homes & Gardens.

I custom made the wine charms and will soon be available for purchase on my etsy store.

Congratulations Megan!  Can't wait to meet this little lady!

Come one, Come all, to Jaylynn's Carnival Extravaganza!!!

I've been helping my best friend Kelley plan her daughter's 1st birthday since last fall and this Saturday was finally the big day!  Jaylynn turned ONE and what a great day she had!

Kelley had gone to the L.A. County Fair, and was so inspired by it that she decided it would be the perfect theme for Jaylynn's 1st birthday.  Immediately, I started sending her ideas after ideas.  We sort of ran with it and below is what came of it.  Kelley's friend, Zaali, was also very involved in the planning and together the 3 of us did a fabulous job (if I do say so myself.)

Happy Birthday Jaylynn!  You won't remember it, but we sure will!

Pennants and a month by month banner greeted the guests.

I made the banner, favor tags, pennants, cupcake toppers, etc.  They were a smart purchase courtesy of dimpleprints on etsy!

High Chair bunting {made by me...and dimpleprints} and the beautiful cake!

Easter Eggs and Earthquakes

Happy Easter to all of you......it's a little late but the day is not over yet.

Living in Southern California did not disappoint.  The weather was beautiful.  Nice, sunny and warm......that is, until the 6.9 earthquake rattled us (possibly 7.2.....the USGS can't decide)!!!  Fortunately for me and my family, we were driving on our way back home from San Diego.  We spent the day down there with my husband's family.  I couldn't be happier that I didn't feel all the shaking.  From what I understand....it was pretty scary.  There was no damage at our house and only a few opened cabinet doors.  Thank God!!

Happy Easter to all of you!

Wisely Planned Birthdays: Fairy Garden Party

Wow.  WOW. WOWWWWW!!!!!  I just LOVE this party!!!!  Too bad I don't have a little girl to throw one for, but if I did, I would try my hardest to throw a fairy party as good as this one {I might not succeed entirely, but I'd sure try!}

If you don't know Kim, from The TomKat Studio, or if you've never been to her blog, then you must have been living under a rock lately.  However, I am here to enlighten you!

Kim creates the most wonderful invitations, cupcake toppers, favor tags, etc. and she even sells them on etsy for you to print at home!  She can customize everything and make it just to your liking!!!  Anyhow, her daughter, Kate, turned 3 this past weekend and she threw her the most beautiful fairy party a little girl could dream of.  For those of us that follow her blog, we've been privvied to the details leading up to this grand day.  From Kim's last minute hunt for ribbon, to making the tutu's and designing the invitation.  We've heard about it all and have loved every minute of it.  So, below is just a little taste of what Kim's creative mind is capable of.  She's absolutely inspiring......

And if you like Kim's stuff as much as I do, head over to her blog.  You'll be glad you did!
