Something
really exciting happened to us party bloggers in Southern California last
week. Courtney Dial, of Pizzazzerie fame, came to Santa
Monica for a book signing of her book “Push-Up
Pops”. Naturally, those of us
from the area got babysitters, planned to meet for dinner & drinks and
rushed across town to meet our girl Courtney!
We showed up, demonstrated our support by buying multiple books, then we
waited for her to finish the signing to have a book signing after party with a little dinner and drinks. We had such a great time that night! So glad
I got to meet all my fellow party girls from the
Golden State. I even met Laura,
of Laura’s
Little Party, who happens to be my NEIGHBOR!!! We had no idea! She lives on the same street as me! {CAH-RAY-ZEE!!} Other party girls that came to party with us were Jeanette from J at Your Service, Blanca from Creativities Galore and Monique from A Blissful Affair. It was a great evening out! ANd if Courtney is coming
to a town near you, stop by to see her.
She’s the sweetest girl, she has the cutest accent and she’s just plain
awesome!
To
celebrate Courtney’s new book {and because I like her so much} I got a signed copy of “push-Up Pops” for one of my
followers. I realize I recently
gave a copy away, but this one is signed and since Courtney could quite
possibly be the next Rachael Ray/ Martha Stewart I know one of you will
appreciate having a signed copy!
