EEK!!! Camp Spooky is back!

*This post has been sponsored by GigaSavvy, however, all opinions are my own.

I can still remember the first time I ever experienced Knott's Scary Farm.  I was in the 8th grade and I went with my cousin Elizabeth, who was in 7th grade, at the time.  To our surprise, my mother actually let me go, unsupervised, with just Liz, until the wee hours of the morning.  Looking back, I have no clue why she agreed, but I do know that I had the scariest, most exciting, pee-in-your-pants-and-laugh-so-hard time!  It was great.  Although I haven't returned to Knott's Scary Farm since my senior year of high school, I have been privy to the theme park's Camp Spooky events in the last few years and to all their new attractions.

If you've never been to Knott's Halloween events, like Camp Spooky, you are missing out on some fun! This year, kids can partake in various activities like, "Snoopy's Costume Contest and Parade, they can visit the Peanuts Halloween "Spooktacular", and experience the fun and interactive "Monster Factory" maze.  These activities are so much more calming on my nerves than seeing a bloodied clown slide across the ground in front of me.

My kids have always loved Camp Spooky, (as seen here) and they especially love to wear costumes (even when it's not Halloween), so thanks to Knott's Berry Farm, we will be surprising them with a little Camp Spooky fun this weekend. Stay tuned for an Instagram video (@whimsyandwise) of their happy dance!

Although I'm not a season pass holder, I will be dropping hints to The Husband on Sunday, that we need season passes to Knott's Berry Farm for us and the boys.  Have you seen the prices?!  The prices are reasonable and they now have financing options!  For as low as $8 per month (for 9 months) you can be an annual pass holder!  And as a season pass holder you'd be entitled to entrance in the park during Camp Spooky and special discounts on Knott's Scary Farm.  That's a great deal!  An even better deal is their Gold Season Pass at $10 per month (for 9 months), where you also get unlimited access to Knott's Soak City!  Considering the summer heat we experienced this year, that might be an even better option!  I'l have to keep you posted on just how successful my efforts are this weekend!  Wish me luck!!!
